Rita Colella, APN

Rita is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background and 30 years of experience in caring for people. She has worked in Emergency Medicine, Forensics, and Internal Medicine. Rita is also board certified through the American Holistic Nurses Association as a Nurse Coach. This diversity led her to explore the specialty of Functional Medicine. After completing the Institute of Functional Medicine’s course “Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice” she knew this was the area she wanted to focus on. It was at that point she committed herself to learning and completing the modules offered by the Institute of Functional Medicine. She is a lifelong learner and her passion is to help others achieve their wellness goals.

When she’s not working you can find her spending time with her family and dog Raven out hiking. She also loves to cook, bake and knit during her downtime.
