Katerina Buseck, BS Health & Human Sciences

Katerina joined the center for Advanced Metabolic & Functional Medicine Center in 2017.  She obtained her BS in Health & Human Sciences from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Katerina has experience working with many people from all different backgrounds. While attending school, Katerina worked at the Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley where she helped forward their mission of bringing healthcare and equality to people with disabilities. She worked on a year long project that looked into the difference in smoking rates between those with and without disabilities and how those with disabilities could be reached and encouraged to live their healthiest lives.

She also helped to implement a health campaign known as “Mindful Mondays” on the campus of Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in 2016. This campaign was meant to bring change to student’s health in terms of the amount of studying they were doing, how much sleep they were getting, and educating them on the importance of being mindful about health.

Katerina has a passion for helping people to live their healthiest lives.

Some of her interests include reading, spending time with family and friends, watching the Lord of the Rings, and exploring new places. Her favorite destination is beautiful Magen’s Bay on the island of St. Thomas.
